Got this little extendable rod for pan fishing, Crappie etc, is this a decent set up? Bobber, beads, jig? Seen different examples of set ups online and just kinda mixed a few things i saw, wanted feedback on the rigging i got going on, thought it looked cool. please and thanks

My kiddo catches about 10 sunfish every outing on just about the same setup
You need more line for the slip bobber. I would recommend at least 3 to 4 feet. You can use different length leaders to get deeper if necessary.
That’s similar to what we got my daughter. I used it with her and was able to catch smallmouth bass and panfish on it
Do you bait this or just throw as is with the fly?
What kind of rod is that? Never seen anything like it.
As for the rig, I honestly have no idea, Im aussie and not sure what gets the pan fish over your side
do you just cast and wait?
