this is my girl percy! I am breeding her with a male. They have both bred before (about a month ago) but he ate the eggs💔. Im giving them another go, today was the irl introduction stage after be built a nest allowing them to breed. He engaged in the 'squeeze' but was too high, more at her head than her belly. No eggs came out as a result. Im going to try again tomorrow because he was pretty gentle and shes remarkably uninjured, and still full of eggs. Im not sure if hes still just a little dumb, or whats up. Any advice?

I would heavily heavily advise against breeding. Unless you have 30 extra tanks around. And you are a shop owner. And got the fish from a reputable breeder.
Just try again, some get it at the first try while others need a bit more time.
Just keep trying my guy had the same issue but he’ll get it . Practice makes perfect and as you know ( seems like this isn’t your first time breeding) as long as there isn’t aggression seen it is okay for Percy to keep visiting and trying . Best of luck 🙂🩶
