So I was blessed by the fishing/kayak gods when I walked into Academy for some braided line and saw a sweet Pelican Argo 100x on a crazy steep sale. It retailed for $300 but was 70% off the already marked down price so it worked out to ~$67 pre tax. Most impulsive purchase I have ever made and so damn happy I did!!
Anyway, aside from wanting to share my excitement, I’m making this post because I’m completely new to kayaking and just started fishing a few months ago. Needless to say, I don’t even know where to start with this thing. So any advice, tips, tricks, or just pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🏼
Anybody got any “wish I knew this when I was starting out” stories?

Good news and bad news…
Good news is the price ..can’t beat it.
Bad news is that its not a fishing kayak.
Don’t worry, you can add a few things and still be the cheapest fishing kayak EVER.
My advice is to go fishing with it and have a blast! Meanwhile, get you a pickle jar, then start saving for a stable sit on top, but enjoy this one along the way.
