My little guy is sick, and I finally got this in the mail so how much do I feed? I gave him like 3-4 “pellets” (there were some very miniscule pieces as well he ate) also does this feed float? Because when I was feeding him it just floated down to the bottom.

I feed my betta 2-3 pellets in the morning and then at night, if you prefer to do it once a day 4 pellets is perfectly fine just make sure he eats all 4. Try not to drop them in all at once let him eat one wait 20 seconds then drop the next, if you do it all at once he might have trouble digesting it, or might not even eat it and will spit it out. As for the actual feeding just try to drop it as close to him and if it sinks it’s fine, he’ll chase it to the bottom. Hope your fish gets better soon😕
Their stomachs are roughly the size of their eyeballs.This food type tends to expand a little when rehydrated. I feed one pellet daily and my Bettas live for years (25 years Betta experience)
