I'm going fishing for catfish and wiper for the first time with a friend, I have no past experience fishing for either (I primarily target trout) so I have no clue if this would hold up. It's a sportfisher 450 zr, the drag screeches like hell but no real problems with it. My plan is to pair it with a Berkeley big game rod and 30 pound braid. Would I be okay with this or should I look for other options?
