Just trying to figure out if my betta is male or female the cup said male. Also I know my fish needs live plants both pet stores didn’t have them so I’ve got them ordered.

Looks like a female🌸 Also beside adding live plants I would suggest getting rid of colored gravel as it can release toxins and the ”pineapple of death”
Is there filter, heater and do you use water conditioner?
