Hey guys!Ever since I joined this subreddit I have learned a LOT! I do have a question: how could I make this tank better for him? 2nd pic is when we first got him. I’m always improving and striving to make him most at home. Specifically: I just took out a huge bulk of the pebbles in his tank, but do I still have too much substrate? I want to make sure he has maximum swimming room until he gets his big tank. His tank is completely cycled!

woah you have upgraded a BUNCH since the second picture!! i would just replace any fake plants with real ones if possible! when decorating my bettas tank i think if he was in the wild, would he have this in his natural habitat? if so, keep it, if not, try and replace it 🙂 the amount of substrate looks okay, if you think he would benefit from having less i say go for it. you’re doing great! do you own a water testing kit may i ask?
