If your fish swim through there fine and don’t speed up or have trouble, you’re probably ok. Doesn’t hurt to turn it down a little more if you’re worried about it tho

If you add floating plants youâll probaly not get any near the filter mabye on the end tho, as for the fish an easy way to tell is have a look at them see if the look like there physically struggling to swim against the current, youâll usually see the falling back even when frantically swimming, or whe they stop swimming they fly backwards, a little pus back is okay but if there literally flying when not swimming and the canât even swim against the current itâs too high
