Everyone say hello to Stanley! I love having real plants but I keep killing them and I’m not sure what to do. Does anyone have any good recommendations on silk plants that won’t hurt his pretty fins?

I was never very good at keeping plants alive, but since I splurged on a Hygger light and some fertilizer, they’ve been doing good! I use Fluval Stratum under the sand, but you can also use a liquid fertilizer or root tabs. It might also help that I got plants from my local fish store that were already pretty healthy. Also, are those anubias? I can’t quite tell, but anubias don’t like having their roots buried!
Anyway, as for fake plants, any silk ones at the pet store will do! Of course I liked to opt for natural colored ones 😛
A good full spectrum light and liquid fertilizer made my plants come back to life I use ThriveC low tech
