So I’m just curious, what is everyone using for a chatterbait rod? This is mine, kinda different but I really like it. 13 Meta 7’4” glass with an inception G2 (not a G man super fan, but really like the look and feel of the combo, plus after meeting Gerald a few times he’s a super nice guy!) honestly I’m not normally a fan of glass rods, but this one feels different than other glass rods I’ve used, pretty sensitive, blank is thinner and lighter than other glass rods I’ve used, and it’s strong, biggest fish I’ve caught on it was a 7 pound channel cat. I know there are way better rods out there, but I’ve honestly fallen in love with this combo the last 3 years. Great rod at a great price point!

I’ve recently been using a kvd elite 7’3” mh fast and enjoying it. Probably not the “right” rod but works for me
I use an old tp1 speed stick 7″3 mh moderate for 3/8-3/4oz, for 1/16-1/8oz I use an ul mod slow.
I like a 7ish reel, daiwa tatula ct is my current preference, and I tend to go 20lb braid and 17lb flouro.
I use a GLoomis NRX+ CRR for chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, small swimbaits, etc. It’s the best rod for single hook moving baits I’ve ever used.
Been rocking a St. Croix 7’2” HM mojo glass with a 7.3:1 Daiwa Tatula sv tw. Pretty heavy but good sensitivity and I love the parabolic bend in it!
Have really enjoyed the cashion chatterbait rod. Super smooth and handles fish well.
I’ve been using a couple different ones but I think I’ve settled on the Falcon Lowrider Swim Jig for 3/8 oz and the Head Turner for 1/2 oz. I usually pitch a 1/2 oz around cover rather with a larger profile trailer than cast it real far.
I throw mine on a standard mh 7ft fast. Not sure on the ratio but something normal.
I use the Alpha Angler Chatterbound which is a composite rod. I’ve been using it for about 4 years and like it a lot.
My favorite chatter rod is currently a St Croix Mojo bass med/hvy moderate(spinnerbait)rod with 17lb flourocarbon. Just the perfect amount of give with plenty of backbone for driving a big single hook bait 👌
I was throwing em on a MH Mojo Bass since St Croix rods are pretty soft compared to other brands graphite, but just got an Evergreen Combat Stick Jackhammer rod and it’s sick. 7:1 reel. I only go lower gear ratio for cranks
