I'm getting ready to start hitting my local spots to try to beat my PB bass this year!
I went out once yesterday and had 0 luck 😭 What is everyone else throwing for the early season when the water is still a bit cold?
I tried white\chartruese dual blade spinner, black\red jig with craw trailer, and perch mini swim bait at my neighborhood pond with 0 luck… Although I'll note there aren't a ton of bass there ever it seems.
Pic of some big swimbaits I plan to throw later this season for your time 😎 any tips or pointers would be amazing 🦾

Red square bill cranks. Red jackhammers
Past couple days the strike king gizzard shad square bill crankbait and a Texas rigged Christie craw in blue/black have been hitting nice for me. I’m on the coast tho so it’s a bit warmer here than a lot of the state.
How do you rig those gillys?
Do you have a link for the bottom one?
Gotta let some temps come up a bit.
And/or
Big temp swings can shut them down.
I’m looking to get out this weekend after couple days in upper 70’s.
March usually slow-rolling white/chartreuse gold blade spinners, white/red cranks depending on water color.
I fish everyday they have been biting the lipless all year in charlotte
