I have started to utilize the strolling technique more often since a lot of the bodies of water I fish are highly pressured. I am looking into getting a rod that's more suited for strolling, and after watching a couple of videos, it seems the two things to look for in a rod are a fast or extra fast tip, and also a solid tip construction. My question is, would something like this walleye rod work?

I was thinking about the 6'6" ML extra fast. I would also be using this for jigging for walleye in Canada and thought I could kill two birds with one stone.
