  1. "Personality" always grinds my gears. A person have personality. Animals have behavioural traits or certain characteristics. /rant_over. Great content as per usual.

  2. Awesome! More vids like these and something along the lines of species profile weekly! I watched you along with MD for a long time and your knowledge of many different species is greatly valued

  3. Have a 5 gal. Tank. Right now I have just live plants. The tank has been cycled for a couple years. My ph is 8.2 which I guess is too high for many nano fish. I have had several bettas, but each lasted about 7-8 months. I haven’t put anymore fish in. Any suggestions. Thank you

  4. Love this video! So many of all-time favorite fish. I have a soft spot for platys and they are my number one tropical of all time. They are such cheerful, active fish and always a joy.

  5. I heave a bunch of lemon an had them over a year they are yellow as they can get but they looked like that wen I got them hes not lieing bet little fish I got

  6. Hi Matt, have you ever kept Blackline Tetras? They are one of my favorites but they don’t seem to get the attention I think they deserve. They are a tightly schooling 2-inch (5 cm) silver tetra with a lovely black line. They seem to be very robust as long as you keep appropriate water quality 😊

  7. I use this in my ambient TV art rotation and it's definitely the most eye-catching one. The gold accents shine beautifully, even in a softly lit room.

  8. Yes, yes! I like this kind of video. It would be nice to have a selection of species that are easy to keep or underrated for hard water, for example. Every time I fall in love with a fish, I then discover on its information sheet that it can only be kept in soft water. But at my house, the tap water is very mineralized.😅

  9. I have a 20 gallon tank with a dozen or so Harlequin Rasboras, 3 Amano shrimp and a few ramshorn snails. The aquarium is by my desk where I use my computer lots during the day and can enjoy my fish. I've had lots of other types of fish over the years but never had these until March 2024 … I really enjoy them.

  10. I would like you to talk about an aquarium of about 100-150 liters with uncommon cold water fish such as opercularis, etc. avoiding for obvious reasons oranda and goldfish

  11. Do you think the White Clouds will be just as happy if the number of them in your tank is mixed with the standards & the gold variety? Or do you think they will school mostly in their separate colorations? They are one of my favorite fish that still to this day I’ve never kept for some reason & I really want to get some soon!

  12. Awesome video , I started in the hobby at 10 yrs of age , had a 50 gal running until my late 30's and started the 50 gal back up when I retired . I have several of the Tetras you mentioned in your video Glow Lights, Harlequin, Pristella and the Rosy . I've noticed that fish seem a lot smaller and of course like everything else way more pricey .
