Hi all! I noticed currently as i was feeding my betta that he looked a little rounder in the circled parts. He also looks like he lost a some of his color. I’m worried he may be sick.
His behavior has been the same though, hungry, energetic, the usual. And from a view from above, he is not at all over weight or round.
Could this be the beginning of dropsy? I don’t know a lot about betta fish sickness so correct me if I’m wrong Could he be bloated? I don’t even know if betta fish ca be bloated.

That is where the betta stomach is located. It’s possible he’s bloated, unfortunately bloat can be caused by a plethora of things. What are you feeding him? And how much are you feeding/how often?
How much have you been feeding him ? I actually experienced the same thing with my betta .. when I started to feel him 4/5 pellets in a day.. swim bladder will swell… so i fasted him on alternate days and now on 2 pellets a day and he’s back to healthy
