Winter’s almost over — how much gear did you buy this off-season?
Lakes are frozen and I can't fish…
so obviously I bought another rod and reel.
Pretty sure this is some kind of addiction.
How much damage do you guys usually do during the winter?

Nada. Ive got enough shit to last me 2 lifetimes, and then some.

I feel called out. But yes, I ended up adding 3 rods from Dick’s on sale, a couple of saltwater rods for some striper fishing and a BFS rod and reel. I am waiting desperately for some open waters so I can put my gear to use.

I see so many potential birdnesting opportunities in your near future. Jk lol but I can’t stand a baitcaster. I gave a decent brand 3 good attempts with someone coaching me and all 3 resulted in massive knotted up birdnests even when I tried a short cast. 15 foot cast and 100 yard birdnest 🤷♂️. Idk how that was even possible haha

Nothing, I have 4 rods that I use, and i chosen these because I can fish them how I like it.
I could never buy new lures and still fish when im 60,
However my daughter(6 next month) is preying on a small spare spinning rod i have laying around, so I might buy some beginner lures and things for her
