I got a Sakura rosetail betta about a month ago and he has been building bubblenests everyday for a couple of weeks now. He's such a cool and friendly guy. He always goes up to see me and greet me and my daughter when we approach his tank. He dsnt flare at us but looks genuinely curious and chill at the same time.

I wonder if opal is the same variety as he is gaining more pink color. Under some lighting he looks almost the same as your guy. So I sometimes call him yoshino (like the cherry tree) haha
