Just wanna check and see if my little roomie is doing okay. Ive heard pale scales can be a sign of some not so good things, and ive only had him for about a week. He acts very energetic and loves to patrol his tank and he seems like a very happy fish from what I know, but he is still my first fish whatsoever, and I want to make sure hes happy and healthy and gets the absolute best life I can give him!

If it’s only been a week give him time. My blackhead had white spots on her head that went away after she settled in.

Looks like he got a ripped fin on the left side on a second pic. I’d recommend to get rid of the plastic plants and get real one but boy he’s handsome
What a pretty boy, whats his name? Also if you havent heard of the nitrogen cycle otherwise known as “fish in” or “fishless” cycle please look into that as that is the number one thing you can do to protect his comfort and health. Congrats and good luck! Its an addictive hobby for sure
