Super happy with how it's turning out! I definitely need to fix the lighting situation, as the rotala are sort of bending towards the center… maybe a new light in a couple paychecks lol
6 cherry shrimp, 7 ember tetras, and 5 panda cories. They have been in the tank for 2 weeks and are doing well! The little rock hide on the right side is a favourite of the cories, I find them cuddled up in there sometimes lol.
Ordered and waiting for some floating plants to complete the decor, and after that (depending on how the paramaters and plants fare for the next month or two) I will get a betta. The last two weeks ammonia and nitrite have been zero and nitrate hasn't gone above 5ppm, so with the floaters I think everything should balance out!

Good job there, looks nice and congrats on the first tank. You are now hooked for life lol.
Piece of advice from experience : don’t invest too much on this tank but rather get a bigger one when you can, you’ll thank me later.
