Is there any good way to fix the reel attachment from spinning freely? I tried super glueing

Use a stronger glue, like epoxy and put plenty of it. Then give a few wraps with tape.

Go to your nearest hobby shop (Hobby Lobby MIGHT have it, but you’re better off with a proper hobby shop). Buy THIN CA. It’s super glue, but is much thinner than what is sold in most stores. It’s designed to wick its way into tight spots. Make damn sure you have the reel seat aligned exactly where you want it. Maybe even tape it in place. Then apply a fairly generous amount of CA around the edges. It should work its way in and bond the seat to the reel properly.

I used super glue and a 1.5â syringe

Epoxy, but be sure to get it in the right spot, because once it’s done – it’s done!
