I already have my mh combo decked out and was looking for a good medium combo. Would this reel cast far and work good with lighter baits? Or would something like a metanium just be better to go for because I could save a little money. I wonât use it that often.

This is more of a workhorse reel for 1/2oz. If by lighter you mean 3/8 and down. Metanium 100 is def better
