
I don’t know how this company is so slow at what they do. My one rod from the company had the tip snap off last may. I decided to do the warranty service that had me pay $75 to get a one time replacement and made the payment in June of 2025. So far, it has been 10 months waiting for it to be done. I totally forgot about it and reached out to them only for them to send me a message back saying that they have requested the blank and that they haven’t done anything yet like how is it that this company is so incompetent. I knew it would probably be a long wait time, but this is just crazy. I’m probably gonna be an old man by the time I get this.

Their Instagram and facebook comments are filled with people who enjoy their rods but hate waiting 8+ months when they want one and their social media manager is weirdly defensive and often times rude while discouraging people from placing orders. Their bread and butter is supplying blanks through north fork and I really don’t think they care too much about pumping out edge rods. Somehow being American made means it needs to take up to a year at times.
They are slow… but damn, their rods are nice- especially at 50% off MSRP.
For me- If I NEED a rod- I’m going elsewhere. If I’m INTERESTED IN UPGRADING and can wait a few months, I’ll buy Edge every time.
