So a few things I’d like to mention, I know the plants are kinda sad and the water is low. I recently got the tank with the betta in it after it was neglected for a few months, since I’ve taken over the plants have slowly started coming back alive so I’m giving them time. The water level is the way it is because of the filter, if I fill the water higher then it pour out unfortunately, I’d point the spout in a different direction if it wasn’t so strong, keeping the water where it’s at is the only way I’ve personally found to keep it from blowing the cute guy around. It is a 10 gallon tank tho so a little plus.

It looks great op! I would suggest a sponge filter for the tank they dont take up much space they work as both a bubbler and a filter and imo they’re the best option of filter for a betta! Plus you can fill the tank up fully and they’re affordable 6-10 USD usually and id also suggest some driftwood or rock hides and tannins ! Bettas love them because they like low lighted areas/aquariums and 1 more thing id suggest is a betta hammock for this guy he’s beautiful and I bet sometimes he needs to rest those fins🥰 but all that aside gorgeous tank op im excited and happy to see a betta owner giving a betta a good life (also dont forget to make sure if the plants need root tabs or water fertilizer 😉 8/10 OP beautiful!!

Maybe some more hiding spots and a big branch/log across the tank. I would say 7/10

10/10 on fish care but 7/10 on looks, i think some more plants and areas to hide would look better and also make lil fishy friend happier

This is beautiful and looks like you are doing amazing! 💗 I would suggest some driftwood because it would give more resting spots and some tannins (which are good for bettas!) You can also never go wrong with more plants.

I give it a 7/10! It’s beautiful, it could just use some more things in there for him to explore and swim through!

  5. you need more upvotes ur clearly doing research! assuming low water level is for new fish easier to breathe. everything looks awesome just a hide like everyone else says. be careful to not pick something with a hole ur betta could get stuck in. personally i like med size cholla wood and moss hides/ aquarium safe soft gentle hides! coconut can be ok when u test ur pH diligently, i have a high one so i cant use 🙁
