Just sharing my first tank! Set up this Fluval 6 gallon betta tank at work. Have about 10 neocaridinia shrimp, 2 rabbit snails, and a betta. Lots of plants! Red root floaters, corkscrew Valisneria, horn wart (?), Java fern, and some pothos.
I spent a month cycling. Added plants early, then the shrimp, and finally yesterday the betta and snails. Everyone seems to be doing good! And water parameters seem stable.
Plans include:
– adding a section of sand for the snails, since they apparently like finer substrate
– switching out the dying hornwart in the front. Sigh.
– adding more houseplants that root in the water!
Now I kinda want a tank at home 😅
Also how do people take good tank photos?!

Nice I have the same tank. That is nice to see that you have a shrimp cave, the same type I was looking to get, now I can plan ahead.
