My boyfriends betta has looked like this for a while. I cannot determine whether or not this is popeye, or how to treat it.

It does appear to be so. Kanaplex and some 25-50% water changes daily for a week should do it. But it’s likely water quality that’s the issue. What are your parameters? His fins look a bit rough too, but I can’t tell from this angle.

Sadly mine got pop eye same time as fungal tumor… he still blinks, yawns, looks like a butterfly!
