Are any mystery tackle box style subscriptions actually worth it, or is it just a scam to get rid of cheap gear that no one will buy? If you've tried it, was it worth the money? Were there good lures or just useless fishing gadgets? Finally, what subscription company has the best value? I've only really looked at Mystery Tackle Box and Lucky Tackle Box so far. I am interested in variety packs that would make me target new fish and try new lure types. Any info would be appreciated!
P.S. I know I could just buy different lures myself, I'm just curious.

It was back then but I haven’t tried it since. They sell them in stores now like Walmart and such
They are usually worth face value, but not much more. You’re going to get one or two mid-range items. The rest will be ‘filler junk’.
You’re better off buying what you want rather than hoping to get something good out of these.
if you’re buying it , do it for the fun of it else just buy what you need
