Depending on the fish, 2-3 pellets twice a day usually.

Size of the fish, how active the fish is, and how much they eat. So with my one betta he gets about 10 pellets a day because he is kinda active but loses weight if I feed him less. My other betta gets upwards of 15 a day and is extremely active and maintains a healthy weight.
The typical ‘number’ is dependent on your betta. Keep an eye on their weight and activity.

I’ve been giving mine 5 or 6 of the hikari Betta pellets each night and he’s doing well

Don’t use an arbitrary number to figure out how to feed your fish. Body condition score them and then increase or decrease the amount you are feeding to help the fish reach an ideal body score.
