Was able to jump start the stream tank and shaved a few weeks off cycling by using sponge filters and water from pre established tanks. The sand and gravel been holding steady on the slope and hasn’t settled to the bottom yet and I don’t think it’s going to.

This is a super old tank that was resealed I got from an old timer that has a gas like 4 massive fish room. He said it’s a diamond 72 gallon not a standard 75 that they don’t make anymore. It has no center brace do the glass tops so that’s what the things in the middle are. They are styrofoam legs to hold up a center styrofoam brace for the glass tops to sit on. I may get something to replace it in the future but for now it works.

I have a power head and a penguin filter for the current and two sponge filters as well. It’s planted with live plants and the fish love the current and the cave system too. However no one was in the caves when The pictures were taken since it was just feeding time.

I had some tetras, bards, endlers and hillstream and kuli loaches in there along with some Corey’s and bristle nose plecos
