Hey everyone, I recently got this 25 litre (6.6 gallon) tank that I’m planning on slowly turning into a planted betta set up. I’m currently letting it cycle, used bottled bacteria and some used sponge from the LFS, but not in any rush at all. Will get more plants and driftwood the next coming weeks, like I said, not in a rush. Heater set to 26°C.
I’m wondering what would the better placement of the internal filter be, on the side wall facing the middle of the aquarium or in the back corner facing the front wall? I can adjust the output, but the lowest output still seems pretty strong.

Oh, first of all, bettas don’t like strong water flow. If you can’t change the filter, it would be a good idea to put a sponge on the outlet as well. The second placement looks better to me.
