This is how we do it… 🎶
I use small syringes to dose bc I have small tanks. I make a little holster on the side of the bottles with a short piece of tape on a longer piece; one for each bc…gotta keep ‘em separated 🎶 It probably makes little difference but I don’t want contam especially with the Flourish Excel and Advance.
Many fertilizers and supplements have dosing instructions for 10 gallons or larger so I calculate the per gallon amount and sharpie it on top. Avoids the frustration of mental math late night and/or inebriated.
The last image is my few years old Fluval Spec III with a variety of Anubias, Buce, frogbit, giant duckweed, a sad little righteous Java fern, recently transplanted dwarf baby tears, and two mosses (Java? and Christmas?).
I’ve had ferts for forever but only recently started being a little more consistent in my water changes and dosing. I’m using the aforementioned Flourishes and Thrive + on a weekly basis.
Any advice on the Micranthemum callitrichoides is greatly appreciated. I took it all out for a while but recently brought it back. Can I grow a carpet without CO2?
Oh, and inhabitants are a dozen+ Neocaridina, some other tiny invertebrate (seed shrimp?), bladder snails, and ramshorn snails. I had Thai micro crabs for a season which were really neat: https://www.reddit.com/r/shrimptank/s/8sEavreMv9

Yes! I did the same thing with all my bottles a while ago, and it made everything so much easier. Unfortunately, with the tape and constant use, the markings on the syringes wore off, so I ended up re-marking them with a knife.
