I wanted to know if this was a good buy, it has a Lexa-lt 5000 paired with a Daiwa Saltist inshore 9ft ML rod, please let me know if this is worth it and a good set up for surf fishing.

Thatâs my favourite rod I own, I fish mine with a saltist mq 2500 and 10lb j braid. Depending on where you fish and what for, it could be perfect or way undersized. Itâs plenty for sub 30â stripers on sandy open beach, but I wouldnât want to try and turn a 20 pounder off the rocks with it.
