Found a Marryat fly rod (it looks like model: MGS 905 9'0" #5 2 piece) at a secondhand store the other day in Bangkok. I've searched online and used AI, the info I get is that this is a Marryat brand rod made by Smith ltd. in Japan, made on behalf of Marryat. Later they moved manufacturing to Switzerland and now in France, I think.
I've never heard of the brand, Marryat before and the search for this particular model comes up with nothing. I'm curious to know if it's any good and the price for a similar rod?
