Cyanobacteria. Ultra Life Blue Green Slime Remover will take care of it, but she also needs to figure out the underlying cause so it doesn’t come back. If she doesn’t have a test kit already for testing the water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate), she needs to get one and start there.
