The tank is 10 gallons (no betta yet, im in the cycling phase). The dragon is a bubbler, both the pirate and octopus are hides with multiple compartments. I have a floating leaf, lotus and log for the betta to lay in/on. Plants are real (except the ones on the octopus). I'm relatively new at this, i haven't had a betta since I was a teenager. I'll be testing the water in a few days, but for now I put API betta conditioner in the water. Water is sitting at a comfy 80°F.

This is cute! You should keep an eye out at the pet store for some taller, maybe bushy plants. Bettas enjoy cover plus they like sleeping in plants lol. They don’t like feeling out in the open and bright places so it can make a betta more comfortable to have some shadowy planted spots they can hide in! Also do you remember if that plant in the front left said it was an Anubias when you bought it? It’s hard to tell leaf shape from the angle but if it’s an Anubias you will need to leave it’s rhizome out of the gravel, otherwise it will rot! you can glue(cyanoacrylate glue is what people use usually) to glue it to decor or a rock or wood, or you can kinda jam it between two decorations as long as it’s not in substrate
Where did you get that bubbler from?? It’s so cool!
