Mine will flare at his reflection from the tank, but not a mirror lol.

Just as a precaution, if it seems he wont leave it alone and keeps flaring for too long remove it. It can cause a lot of stress as he can see it as an opposing betta in his tank.
Otherwise glad to see a healthy and large enough aquarium for a little guy. He’s a really beautiful betta.
I mean yeah he thinks you added a rival to the tank lol
