1 betta (fishstick), 7 otocinclus, 11 or so pearl danios, 3 bloodfin tetras (see end of post), some shrimp (mayor scampi (bamboo shrimp), assistant mayor tempura (amano), and some cherries), and 2 rabbit snails (hattington and evil fedora)
couldnt name all the plants in there but the floating plants are riccia, a teeny tiny amount of duckweed, and 3 dwarf water hyacinths. Emerged plants are rattlesnake and a type of fern. i do have plants in the back they just havent grown in yet and honestly even if they dont im kinda digging the planted sideburns look so ill let them be, it makes fishstick pop.
everyone gets along perfectly fine, the danios, tetras, and fishstick all come to the front kf the glass when i tap on it and follow my fingers because theyre fatties and know im the one who feeds them (it makes cleaning the glass difficult but i love having social fish)
yes i know tetras are supposed to be in a school of at least 6 with the more the better, there were more but the others died off months ago and i really dont want any more tetras after these guys die. i love them but tetras arent my thing and theyre living perfectly fine and much better then they would be at my lfs (being petco, i live pretty far from anywhere better). they hardly school together they just kinda chill same goes with everyone else in the tank

Very very nice and that’s so funny I almost named my female betta fishstick lol because when I got her she was all fish no fins and looked like a little pink fish stick now she looks like some one threw paint on her she’s very chubby and pretty no longer looks like a fish stick lmao 🤣 but ur tank and betta are both stunning very very verrrryyyyy wonderful job love the coloring you chose and the variety of plants is just beautiful
