That first fish honest to god looks like a steelhead X golden trout hybrid. I’ve never seen a steelhead or any other rainbow trout with such a plumage.

What would the headless fly fisherman’s head be instead of a pumpkin? A big ball of dubbing? Giant egg pattern? Huge strike indicator?
