i just got this corydoras catfish and when i was transferring it from the bag to the tank he flopped in the net and got his fin stuck in it i tried to get it off but i cant and didnt want to risk hurting him so i gently cut the net around the fin and now he has a tint bit of net stuck on him:( not really sure what to do from here.. will it fall off eventually? it doesn’t seem to be hurting him as he seems to swim fine. what should i do:(?

It’s likely he will shake it off when he settles in. If it is still there in tomorrow afternoon I don’t know what to tell you it’s hard now that he is in the tank. It should be ok though
