Hopefully for you, smallmouth bass. Enjoy. Google says 55 species in Michigan rivers. River fishing is a lot like ocean fishing to me in that you are never quite sure what you are going to catch.

This sounds bad but… my neighbors call that a crick (creek) where I’m at. They said treat it like you were on a boat on the Atlantic Ocean. Toss fresh scraps of meat like it is chum, potatoes and all. I love my neighbors. Have a blast!!!
