Hey everyone. Hope this is cool to post (I asked the mods and haven't heard yet), but I wanted to get this out there in the meantime.

I live in Kansas (yep), and live for my trips to the gulf coast 1–2 times a year to visit family (that's me and my daughter in the photo). I always ran into the same issue: trying to balance fishing time with family time. I didn't want to spend 6 hours on the beach "scouting" only to find out the conditions were wrong. I couldn't afford a charter, so I had to get smart about fishing the surf, piers, and backwaters.

I built SaltLogic to be surgical about when and where I go, to help me find the best spots and times to hit them. And so far, it's worked out pretty well 🙂

It’s an app specifically for coastal/shore/kayak anglers (no big boat stuff). I coded it to crunch 30+ data points and then use AI to interpret what those conditions actually mean for an area or even a specific spot on the map. It gives you some coaching on tactics/species based on the live data, and there’s a log to track what worked.

The build is finished and I'm looking for 10-15 beta testers on both Android and iPhone to beat this thing up and tell me what sucks and what works. Anyone who is gracious enough to help, I'll open up a 2-month subscription with all the pro features for free, just need your feedback.

If you’re a shore or kayak angler who wants to spend less time guessing and more time catching fish (that's the hope), drop a comment or DM me (I'll need emails for Android users) and I’ll get you a link to the beta!

A fishing dating app. Sounds like a good idea but I think it would be very one sided
