About Brian Barczyk:

Brian Barczyk was a passionate wildlife enthusiast and vlogger who dedicated his life to sharing his extraordinary journey with animals on YouTube since May 10, 2016. His remarkable adventures led him to be part of TV network series, produce “Brian In The Wild” a documentary in South Africa, travel globally to encounter incredible animals and their advocates, initiate “Checking In” a podcast, establish “AnimalConUSA” a convention for animal content creators and their fans, and create The Reptarium – an interactive reptile zoo in Utica, Michigan, among many many other achievements.

In March 2023, Brian faced the greatest challenge of his life with a diagnosis of inoperable Pancreatic Cancer. His strength, courage, and the unyielding support of the incredible #ReptileArmy community inspired him to continue sharing his story and pursuing his dreams, even in the toughest times.

Brian’s vision for the LegaSea Aquarium & The Reptarium, a symbol of resilience and the power of dreams, is now a legacy that his crew and family are devoted to bringing to life in his honor. As we break ground on this expanded facility just across the street from The Reptarium, we embrace this mission as a testament to Brian’s indomitable spirit.

Join Brian’s crew, family, and the #ReptileArmy in continuing this inspiring journey of discovery, conservation, and hope. As we vlog the LegaSea aquarium build, embark on adventures around the world, and deepen our connection with wildlife, we pay tribute to Brian’s legacy. Together, we will forge a future where every encounter with the natural world is a moment to inspire, educate, and celebrate the extraordinary tapestry of life that Brian so loved.

  1. Go visit Jay and Maria in our awesome town st.louis and enjoy our beautiful aquarium and have them take you to see the buffalo and wolf's i would love to meet all of you ❤

  2. I have swam with beluga whales they are beautiful creatures, as well as on a separate occasion done a sleepover with a little one I looked after as her nanny, sleepover in the Vancouver Aquarium. It was amazing to fall asleep there, even with the tank lights off the fish still glow, like the beluga whales glow with white light you can see them swim when they sleep it is a beautiful experience. Just don’t put your sleeping bag under the whale noise exhibit…. That was my bad cause when it turned on in the morning, it was a bit of a startling wake up call… my bad lol 😂. Legasea should offer this as an experience they also did a pancake breakfast in the morning. It was a mother daughter or father daughter type event. Would be cute for mothers or Father’s Day.

  3. You guys kind of made a big deal of the sea horses and then didn't even really show them. For how much you built them up, 1-2 seconds (literally) of screen time was a joke.

  4. you think that is big, my uncle went fishing, and reeled in a 6.5 foot alligator gar
his brother, built like a big biker dude, freaked out, and jumped out of the boat, and swam back to shore, he wasn't going to stay in a boat with that

  5. Nice tour, I hope I visit Shedd Aquarium. Seeing you guys at the spot where it recreated waves made me think of the Aquarium at the John Ball Zoo, which is a place you guys should visit.

  6. I really like those huge uber natural enclosures that have the fish and the water feature, as well as like a big forest coming out the top which perfectly mimics the natural environment of someplace like the Amazon so it has like turtles fish, as well as snakes all in one thing. They should do a really big one of those, but really big and I mean big. It would be better to have one really huge one than a small one and I know that they have that already at the aquarium, but they’re pretty small. like imagine having the sloth 🦥 up in the trees in a big huge enclosure that also has water at the bottom that has fish and turtles and everything. The sloth would enjoy it, and it would just look absolutely banger.

  7. That was awesome! Thanks for taking us along. I’ve always wanted to go there! It’s breathtaking. Your reactions were great to catch on video. But AJ steals the show, he’s a natural. 💚

  8. Day 711 of leaving a positive comment for Brian and his crew and family. That aquarium looks so nice I love seeing new places that I wouldn't be able to visit on my own. Thanks for sharing.

  9. Those Dolphins (Pacific White-Sided or LAGS to some people) are the Acrobatics of the Sea, plus in SeaWorld of Texas has both Belugas and Dolphins together
