Before I get beat up on handling these fish, I was with my 6 and 8 year old fishing for stocker trout. Lesson learned: always be ready to catch anything. They were quickly released after a fast picture.
Fishing a popular, well stocked creek, we managed to pull out 4 really nice Gila Trout. Iâve been fishing this creek for 6 years now, and have never caught one. Theyâre supposedly very rare, and Iâve never seen 1, let alone catching 4 in a day. Pretty exciting.
