this is an old custom 8' 4" fiberglass rod made with a Truline Dynamo BM100 (M100) blank, I believe. I believe it's spined for baitcasting, but can it be used with a spinning reel? It's got 8 guides + tip. Don't the guides look huge for baitcasting? I'll probably use it for light Surf/Jetty fishing.
School me on this, I'm not a pro on this stuff by any means. Thanks in advance! 🙋🏻♀️

Here’s a photo of someone’s non-custom 8′ 4″ Truline Dynamo M100 I found on the internet & it also appears to have rather large guides, although they seem spaced differently and maybe a little smaller.
