Not 100% sure what I’m done. Not exactly sure how to test the water appropriately either. Petsmart tested it a few times & said it’s good.

I have more plants on the way.

No name for my blue betta yet.

He doesn’t like the wood 🙁

Absolutely lovely but invest in/shop for some near surface hammocks and hides of some sort. They love to rest near the top of the water.

You did a good job! Pet stores like Petsmart and Petco have leaf hammocks that fish love and also water testing kits! I’d also recommend some more plants because fish love them and they help keep the tank stale

  3. My betta really like those tubes that you can suction to the side glass, they also like Anubis nana plants, which it looks like you have one there on the left, but don’t bury the rhizomes or it will die. Just the roots that grow off the rhizome, or glue or tie it to the wood. They dont need their roots planted to thrive. I just snap them into suction cups on the glass. Id recommend lots more plants as it will feel more secure. Looks like a great start and your betta is a pretty boy!
