It’s been about a month since I added in those fish. They seem to be doing fine, sometimes playing in the current. The shop keeper said it’s okay, so I got 6 as a school. But as I do more research, i see many criticism of people having neons in 5 gallon, but can’t seem to find any on green neons (they are smaller than neons). If it’s too small of a tank, I can probably try get ember tetras, by asking them to adopt. Just want the best for them! What do you think?

Disaster waiting to happen rodl
I have some green neons and agree they’re very small. In fact mine are probably smaller than my ember tetras. Everyone will have a different opinion but if they are happy and healthy they’re probably much better off in your healthy tank than crammed in by the hundred in the fish store.
