so recently I’ve seen a lot of hype around the Z-Man jackhammer and the tungsten EVO, and I was wondering how big the difference is between the expensive ones to the cheap ones. Im 13, so I don’t really have the money to buy jackhammers every I get a new chatter bait, so I use the cheap z-man ones. they work fine, and I enjoy fishing chatters a ton. but is the jackhammer and the evo worth the investment? are they worth the money?

Start with what you can afford, leave the hype baits alone until it doesn’t hurt as much to lose them.
I’m no expert but I’ve caught more fish on the regular chatterbait than the others. The jackhammers work great, but the result difference hasn’t justified the price difference for me. I got a few when Dick’s had a good sale on them too. My observations are that the black finish on the blades is a joke and flakes off really fast, and other brand bladed jigs are never quite as good as z-man. With all that said I do use them a lot.
The better ones are great but most of the zman lineup will work when the bladed jig bite is on. The best ones are sometimes the ones you can afford to fill your box with. Currently I have like 8 of the originals and a few Evo minis
