The snout of my betta looks unusual, there is a gab between the mouth and where the scales begin.
He used to have that a little bit for a while but it has never been this extreme.
Anyone has an Idea what it could be and whether it's normal?

Sorry, OP, not normal. Unfortunately, my last Betta was the same. Even lived with that for a few months (and he behaved normal!)- the bump migrated, then went away, after that it came back and killed him. I tried salt baths, antibiotics, nothing helped. Doesn’t fit the tumor description, so to this date I am not sure what it was.
