Feedback on my double haul (distance casting) – Rio OBS #7 / Sage R8 Core #7

Hi all,

I’ve been working on my distance casting and especially trying to improve my double haul. I’d really appreciate some feedback on my technique.

Gear:

• Rod: Sage R8 Core #7
• Line: Rio Outbound Short #7

I’m mainly focused on:

• Timing of the haul
• Line speed
• Overall efficiency in the cast

I’m hoping the loops are visible enough in the video – otherwise I can try to film another one with better line visibility.

Any input is welcome – both what looks good and what I could improve.
