

Chattahoochee River ~ 15 miles down river of the Buford dam
Based on my last post, the common consensus was all rainbow is the Hooch tailwater are stockers or holders. Browns however are wild and haven’t been stocked in 20+ years.
I’m curious why they seem so different? If you showed me these two fish I would’ve labeled the brown as a stocker and the bow as wild

At that moment your fly, net, and general stress. Before that he fought being a smolt/Juvenile.
Fish are always jostling for position in pools and feeding runs. Could’ve taken some damage in a cheap net dry net or got drug up on the bank. Could be anything.
