59L new tank – hopefully this is enough. I had 2 driftwood being boiled outside, filter will be moved to the side to make space for the lid – might adjust it at a photo frame shop, supposedly they can break the glass. It’s cycling with media from my other tank and some of its bionoods. Might add a black sheet behind?

Filter thing has been added to reduce the water distribution. I’m actually unsure if this is a good thing or bad thing, it managed to stick onto the filter without needing anything.

Also upset the light was supposed to come today but it’s been delayed will hope the light from the glass doors will be enough until Tuesday.

Now it’s the waiting game…

This is perfect for a betta fish, especially for a shortfin
This is also great for a first tank! You’re doing amazing so far!

i would get a short fin betta like a plakat or a female, they’ll really use up all that space nicely

It’s gorgeous. With long swim space like that, I’d look into a wild type. I hear they are hardier than the ones that tend to be overbred for their looks.
