We made it out to our local State Park today and had a good day. I fished a vintage glass rod that my dad found in his house and gave to me. My casts got a little sloppy with the slower action but I love how the glass feels. My only knock against it is the weight, it feels like swinging a bat compared to my modern 9ft 5wt fast action. I caught two rainbows and my first ever brook trout all on a scud pattern.
